Minimum Salary in Norway
In Norway, there is no national minimum wage. Instead, wages are determined through collective bargaining agreements between trade unions and employers. However, Norway has legal minimum wages for nine specific sectors through the general application of collective agreements ("allmenngjøring").
As of June 2025, minimum wages apply in sectors including construction (NOK 239.61-264.32 per hour), agriculture and horticulture (NOK 142.90-168.40 per hour), and freight transport (NOK 229.00 per hour).
